Chijioke O. Nduaka

Co-Founder & President

He is the founder and president of Hoopz to Greatness - African Basketball Camp. With a professional background in business corporate culture, Chijioke created the idea to develop Hoopz to Greatness in 2015. Since then, Chijioke's vision for Hoopz to Greatness has been to empower the youth in Nigeria and all over Africa with education and basketball. With his extensive corporate experience at major Fortune 500 corporations, Chijioke will help the organization make crucial decisions, reduce risk and expand the camps. A native of Nigeria, Chijioke's passion is give back to such a place that has given his so much in his youth. His heart is to make it a better place. In his spare time Chijioke enjoys reading, sports, music, traveling and teaching.

Bayyinah Monk

Co-Founder & Executive Director

Bayyinah oversees the general operations of the organization.  With a B.S. in Economics & Business Administration from Otterbein University and an A.A. in Mortuary Science from Briarwood College, Bayyinah always had the desire to help make the world a better place. 

Hauwa Abdulrahaman Girei

Africa Regional Coordinator - Nigeria (Abuja)

Hauwa is our regional coordinator in Abuja, Nigeria.  She earned a Bachelor of Science in Entreprenuership from Nassarawa State University.  Mrs. Hauwa is currently an intern at the Code of Conduct Bureau in Abuja, Nigeria.  As an entreprenuer, she is also a certified professional make-up artist.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading and traveling.  Hauwa is happily married and resides with her husband in Abuja, Nigeria.

Martin Kofi Tawiah

Africa Regional Coordinator - Accra, Ghana

Martin is our Regional Coordinator in Ghana.  His passion is helping the youth to discover their worthiness and to help them unearth their talent to live a purposeful and more fulfulling life.  Martin received his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Political Science in 2001.  He recently aquired his Post Graduate Diploma in Education in 2018.  Professionally, Mr. Martin is currently a teacher in the Ghana Education Service.  He  also gives his spare time to volunteer with Service to Mankind Farms as a Marketing Manager and as a Charity Manager at Accra Book Festival.  In his spare time he enjoys reading, music, traveling, sports and watching movies.  Mr. Martins reside in the Accra metro area with his wife and children.
